For more than 20 years Caleb Niemela has been immersed in the time-honored traditions of craftsmanship, construction management, general carpentry and fine homebuilding.

Born into a family of builders, entrepreneurs and developers, Caleb began building and renovating homes at the young age of 15. He honed his innate skill set with a degree in construction management from the Thompson School of Applied Science at UNH, returning to the construction business profession in 2001.
​
His passion for the handcrafted precision, natural elegance and custom engineering of timber frame design prompted him to focus on fine homebuilding full-time, and by 2006 Niemela Design was incorporated.

Today, under his direct guidance, Niemela Design has become a premier general contractor specializing in the design and construction of fine homes, timber frames and high-end building renovations throughout New England.
