For more than 20 years Caleb Niemela has been immersed in the time-honored traditions of craftsmanship, construction management, general carpentry and fine homebuilding.

Born into a family of builders, entrepreneurs and developers, Caleb began building and renovating homes at the young age of 15. He honed his innate skill set with a degree in construction management from the Thompson School of Applied Science at UNH, returning to the construction business profession in 2001.

His passion for the handcrafted precision, natural elegance and custom engineering of timber frame design prompted him to focus on fine homebuilding full-time, and by 2006 Niemela Design was incorporated.

Today, under his direct guidance, NiemelaDesign has become a premier general contractor specializing in the design and construction of fine homes, timber frames and high-end building renovations throughout New England.
